In Off Corso Rotterdam

Each presenter is allowed 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds each -
giving 6 minutes 40 seconds of fame before the next presenter is up.
This is Pecha Kucha - a Japanese invention now in hundreds of cities all over the globe. Yesterday night it was in Rotterdam and it was a great experience.

Niek and Noor

At Le Restaurant we had a excellent dinner with our dear friends Niek and Noor. (photo by iPhone...)

Pilot

In the impressive museum for crashed airplanes in Heemskerk you see how brave the crew were during that times. More then 7.000 planes crashes in Holland (mostly on their way to Germany and back). I didn't know about this musem but passed it by chance during a little tour on my motor bike.

Milk with the Cows

I drove to Antwerp today with my Bike (Milk) and took the long way straight to the (green) heart of Holland. It was a beautiful day sunny - no wind and a nice temperature...

ship

It wasn't the best of weather when I made a little trip to Lelystad today... The ship more looked like one from Pirates of the Caribbean...

color coded cards

At the reception to say goodbye to my dearest friend Frank van der Heijden from ABN AMRO in Nieuwegein  they used a color coded card system to process all the thousands of people they expected who wanted to speak to Frank. I didn't had much time and fixed all the colors so I could speak to Frank at once and be off to Amsterdam right away (on my new bike of course)

My new bike

I drove past Honda-Amsterdam this morning and couldn't help noticing that something shiny white was standing on the pavement. It turned out my new bike! And I can pick it up tomorrow! :-))))

Bunkers in the meadow

While driving my motorbike today I passed the Bunkers of the great Atlantikwall build during WWII near Haarlem on the west coast of Holland. After 60 years not much has changed with these bunkers - they are way to strong to be removed...

In the archive vault

I was at the Dutch Institute for Image and Sound in Hilversum to have atour at their archive. It is huge with more then 80.000 hours of television alone. In the picture you see one of the 54 vaults they have packed with tapes. The nice thing about this archive is that everyone can search and watch fragments.

Bright Light

I was invited at the CEO dinner of MailMerge which was at this nice Lighthouse Ship in the Harbor of Amsterdam.
