We visited the Ystad Studios home of the Wallander movies. We had the back lot tour so you can see all the sound stages. It was really funny to walk around in Kurt's house and to sit on his couch...

Lubeck
On our way to Ystad, Sweden, we stopped at Lubeck to spend the night. This is a very old city with a rich history. In the Maria Church you will find the old bells just the way they fell to the ground during a raid of WWII. The city is rebuild though and looks lovely.

Chuck and Larry
I saw Chuck and Larry a couple of days ago and it wasn't so bad as I expected. Yesterday however I received a DVD copy of the Australian movie Bedfellows on which Chuck and Larry obviously is based and it was far better, much more realistic and human. Strangely enough Chuck and Larry credits 3 screenwriters - among them is Alexander Payne, the writer of Sideways - but no reference to the original... ;-)

Zimbabwe is to start circulating a new 200,000 Zimbabwe dollar note, in a bid to tackle the country's inflation, the highest in the world. The new note, issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe today, can buy 1kg (2.2lb) of sugar.
