The James Bond Aston Martin DB5 as used in Thunderball was sold yesterday for a whopping £2,912,000. But I thought that it was already sold years ago to the Louwman Collection.. (see above) So that's making you wondering how many original James Bond DB5 there are in the world?

New Digital Speed cameras cannot detect motorcycles: Hurray!
The latests Motorcycles (Like my Z1000) are not detected by the digital Speed cameras now being installed... They have to little metal parts to be picked up by the wires in the road. That will save me some Euros - because there are more then 1500 of these cameras in the Benelux alone.

Norman Wisdom dead - the end of a (british) era
Norman was unique as a clown a "normal" guy getting into all kind of trouble (hence the title of above movie). I still have to laugh out loud when I see these movies - which says something about their timeless quality. They are also a excellent mirror of Britain in the 1950's. He is like George Formby: one of the great Brits ever...

Mary Meeker: The future is Mobile
Mary Meeker is convinced that mobile will be the future. That is to say: smartphone AND tablets. I agree: in some markets you already see a leap jump from nothing to smartphones surpassing the PC completely. What this means for Microsoft, websites in general and Google is to be seen. Maybe the latter has some advantage with its android OS.
