Across the street from our hotel is the Victoria & Albert Museum which has one of the finest decorative art collections in the world including a Leighton and some Jacob Sang glasses.
The 39 steps is a new comedy which uses John Buchan's story and Alfred Hitchcock adaptation if it. Only 4 actors play all the roles while using minimal stage props. It was really fun.
The weather in London was terrific so it was time to (re) visit some nice sites (Tower) and to do some serious shopping. The first ever Abercrombie in Europe on Burlington was so crowed that we decided to leave the hour long queue for the cashiers. Jermynstreet was nice and so was Lilly White sports department store.
Joop van den Ende, good for more than $2 billion and ine of the richest persons on this planet, won the Bingo yesterday. He won a brand new Mitsubishi ($15.000). Unfortunately for him: his own company organized the Bingo, so he cannot collect his prize. Poor Joop, I guess he is doomed to keep on driving his Maybach instead... :-)
