Waking up will never be the same

The Philips DC 291/12 is a iphone/ipad dock with an integrated alarm radio. It is the perfect combination of charging the iPad while sleeping, waking up with the latest news, reading the morning paper in the kiosk and play spotify now and then - not to forget use the ZEO brain activity app- all in one beautiful aluminum package. So nice that we order two :-)

Beardo - beard beanie

If you happen to be like Zach Galifianakis or just want a warm face in the winter - then maybe a beardo is something just for you. In various styles and colors - but I like the one above most. (O yeah: Zach is the guy on the second photo...)

A day at the beach

I was at Bloemendaal today with the guys from Motomedia to discuss our plans for 2012 (Yep - it is that time of the year already). It was a great / fun / interesting meeting and the traditional walk along the shore was perfect because of the sunny skies.

The day I ran 3 minutes faster

The weather was picture perfect: blue sky, sunny and no wind. The 37st Amsterdam Marathon had excellent conditions. For the second year I ran the 8K and was happy with a 3 minute improvement.

1dollarscan - digitisation of your paper books

Ship your volumes to 1DollarScan and they will slice off the spine use high-speed Canon scanners with OCR software and turn them into PDF files. All for  just $1 for every 100 pages scanned. One catch though - your books are gone forever and will be destroyed, recycled and NOT returned... Hmmm - not sure if I want that...
