In the great Metropolis of Antwerp I saw the last installment of Pirates of the Caribbean. It took a while before I went to see this movie because I was afraid it was bad. Yep it is. It is way to long, the fighting scenes to messy and the story boring. Next to that there are some pretty stupid mistakes like to kid in the beginning of the film with braces (?!) It is a shame because number one in the serries was so much fun.

One of my favorite sculptors is Constantin Meunier, a Belgian painter and sculptor around 1900. His docker in front of the Antwerp city hall is a nice example of his work.

I went to Antwerp with Hans to watch the Eurogames 2007. Hans will compete in the swimming compettion. I considered doing wrestling but decided against it and just make a fun long weekend out of it.

We hear about this more and more. Here the story of a guy who was beaten up. We have to stop this...NOW

This morning when I went to the dentist I stumbled upon this tram which apparently took the wrong direction and landed into a meadow...

It took a while but finally the picture of Ross Burkinshaw by David Short is framed and hangs on one of the kitchen floor walls (around the corner of our copy of Boxing school by Erwin Olaf)
The frame is perfectly executed in pure matte black polish by Guy Saint Hill of De Roo and Saint Hill framers of Haarlem. Just the way they do for The Frans Hals museum and the Rembrandts in The Rijksmuseum.

* Two 3.0GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon (so 4 in total)
* 8 GB (4 x 2GB) - That should do the trick...
* 4 * 750GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s (yep: 3 terrabytes)
* ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB (2 x dual-link DVI)
* Apple Cinema HD Display (30" flat panel)
* Two 16x SuperDrives
* Both Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and AirPort Extreme
* Apple Wireless Keyboard and Apple wireless Mighty Mouse - U.S. English
* Mac OS X - U.S. English
Blazingly fast, super cool and also with MS Vista. But even better: ready for Leopard!
I was a little bit tired of the same old boring PC interface, tired of all the security updates and the viruses attacks. On the other hand I am more then satisfied with my MacBook, so the next logical step is to go Mac all the way...
