Save the Floppy Disk
Strange: even in the new version of Office 2007 the icon for saving a document, sheet or presentation is a ... floppy disk! wait a minute: who still knows what a floppy disk is? couldn't they better use a 1) USB stick icon, 2) Hard disk icon 3) completely new icon ?I guess Thijs is right when he suggested that our mutual friend Tjeerd from Microsoft probably did a lot of consumer research and found out that this is what consumers expect it to be.
