Rapid Development
This morning the conference started. We had several options for workshops and started with a revealing session with Kelly Goto about the development process. We learned about hybride designers, rapid agile prototyping, rapid user interface research. Although we guessed that we were some sort of experts in this field it turned out the the developments in this area go with the speed of light. We noticed that we were doing sometimes things the old fashioned way at Funda. Now that we start from scratch again we can implement the web 2.0 way :-)In the afternoon we were immersed in the Venture Capital process and we learned about pre - and postmoney, employees stock option pools and wise lessons about financing the business.
In the evening Richard and Alfredo invited us to a exquisite dinner at Michael Mina. The bottle of wine (Screaming Eagle 2004) had a price tag of $1850. Luckily for them I don't drink that kind of stuff anymore.
It was a very nice evening with lots of laughter and funny remarks.
