The day I discovered Blossom (Dearie that is...)

Today I stumbled upon Blossom Dearie - A jazz singer with a light little-girl voice and a great timing (probably because she plays the piano as well. It started with an old Blue Note Trip album (not by coincidence by my favorite DJ Meastro) on which the number "Charade" appears.  Then I downloaded some more albums, and now I am hooked.
Listen to one of her signature songs, “I’m Hip,” or "More then you know" e.g. - both Mel Tormé classic also by the way.

All six Verve albums — “Blossom Dearie” (1956), “Give Him the Ooh-La-La” (1957), “Once Upon a Summertime” (1958), “Sings Comden and Green” (1959), “My Gentleman Friend” (1959) and “Soubrette Sings Broadway Hit Songs”(1960) — are super cult classics.
Thanks Blossom! :-)
