Vanessa Redgrave still going strong

In the (surprisingly OK) romantic comedy "Letter to Juliet", Vanessa Redgrave is stealing the show with her nice balanced acting. You actually believe she is searching for her lost love (played by good old  Franco Nero). You forget that Amanda Seyfield and Christopher Egan are in this picture - which isn't to bad. Although I must admit that I did paid attention to Gael García Bernal of course...

Marque Joosten
I bought a new lens for my PEN1 - the Panasonic(= Leica) pancake 20mm/F1.7 This is a really good lens and a great combination with the PEN1. The F1.7 brightness give beautiful, soft focus shots with minimal light (and no flash). It is also very lightweight. Perfect!

Inception 2010
Royal Wedding 1951

I really liked Inception and its storyline like Plato's Allegory of the Cave. A lot of SFX make this movie "believable" With one of them though I had a déjà vu of good old Fred Astaire in the Royal Wedding, which was made more then 60 years ago - when they had no Adobe Premiere or other computer trickery...
