L'amour fou is a documentary about the (difficult) life of Yves-Saint Laurent and his lifetime lover Pierre Bergé. They met in 1958 and with some up and downs stayed together for 50 years. The movie tells the moving story of the depressive Yves which was never really happy and longed to be young again and to live the life he never had a chance to. He was way to young (20) when he was put in the limelight as creative director of Dior. They amassed an amazing amount of art which was sold in 2008 for hundreds of millions - not that it made them any happier...
