The Oscars 2011: waste of time...

Luckily I didn't watch it live and could use the fast forward button (a lot!): but this edition of the Oscars was really a waste of time. James and Anne were a terrible choice to host: uninterested, not funny and well just not hosts in general. All the winners were unsurprising and the thank you speeches reached a new low level of thanking everyone (sons, parents, spouses, friends etc. etc.) and saying really nothing.
No spontaneous or wow! moments - this Oscars night is one to be quickly forget. Let's hope that the academy and ABC  will find a new format otherwise this could be the very last time...
