Today we heard to sad news that Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau died. After Donna Summer again a favorite singer gone (in a slightly different league ;-) ).
Dietrich interpretation of Schubert lieder is the best - think of Die Forelle or the Erlkönig with Gerald Moore at the piano what more do you need for a rainy afternoon? I am a sucker for German Poems I know.
