The day I ran naked...
Thanks to the article of Mark Singer in the New Yorker I was wondering why I always run like a laboratory rabbit completely wired up? So I decided to run "naked". No Nike fuel band, No Nike GPS watch, No Nike plus sensor, No Polar heartbeat sensor, No iPod, even No shirt. Just some (Nike free) shoes and shorts (for my keys). It felt really weird running around like that. Very much aware of my breathing and sound of my shoes on the pavement. Nothing to check, not sure when to turn around...After awhile though things got better and I felt actually free - nothing to worry about :-)
But no stats after my run either: Length, duration, heartbeat, pace - nothing.
I must admit that I am not sure what to do now? Maybe alternate wired with free?
