Sure there was Zedd winning for Clarity and Dawn Upshaw at the last grammies, but for me the greatest winner was Gregory Porter. I have to admid that I never heard from him before (and so missed his extensive Dutch tour last Autumn. But this guy with his rich baritone and the ever-present Kangol hat is my new favorite jazz singer (well that is after Mel - because Mel is a whole class apart...). Listen to his latest album Liquid Spirit and you know what I mean.
