Funda-directeur naar concurrent Telegraaf (planet media)
Officieel mag Marque Joosten zich echter niet gaan bemoeien met Woonkrant.nl.
Officieel mag Marque Joosten zich echter niet gaan bemoeien met Woonkrant.nl.
Marque Joosten wordt directeur van Telegraaf Classified Media, de verzameling van uitgaven met rubrieksadvertenties, waartoe sites behoren als Speurders, Relatieplanet, Vacaturekrant en ook Woonkrant.nl.
De laatste is een directe concurrent van Funda, waar Joosten tot voor kort directeur was. Grootaandeelhouder NVM ontsloeg de directie, aanvankelijk voorlopig, maar de breuk was niet meer te helen.
Joosten
kan belangrijke kennis over de woningmarkt bij Woonkrant bezorgen en de
strategie die hij bij Funda niet mocht uitvoeren (een open site
inclusief woningaanbod van niet-NVM-makelaars) bij Telegraaf Media
Groep wel in praktijk brengen.
Dat laatste zal officieel absoluut niet het geval zijn, zo verzekert Marianne Zwagerman
ons (Windows Media, 4 minuten). Zij heeft de leiding over de hele
'niet-print' club van de Telegraaf. Joosten had een concurrentiebeding
bij Funda, wat betekent dat hij zich niet met Woonkrant mag
bezighouden. De Telegraaf heeft Woonkrant officieel uit de groep sites
van Joosten gehaald.

New Phone Nokia N70
Got a new phone from The Telegraaf: the Nokia N70. A full flash G3 media phone. Unfortunately in the New York Times today the all new Blackberry Curve had a raving review (it is a sort of Pearl but then with a compete keyboard). I guess I will wait for that phone in stead. Just t breach the gap to the introduction of the Apple Iphone naturally...

The Telegraaf project
I started as CEO Telegraaf Classified Media. (except for the real estate unit that is...). It will be fun and challenging to try to manage that business. Although the setting is a bit different than running your own joint (like funda) I felt at home immediately and am spending my days by listening what's going on.We need a lot of effort, energy and motivation to reach the ambitious goals that are set. But it is doable :-)
