Danny Hoeksema from Bovenkarspel
In De Volkskrant Magazine of this week, the 13 year old Danny Hoeksema from the Northern town of Bovenkarspel say that his upbringing is ok. His parents knew from the start that Danny was gay and encouraged him to come out when the time was there. In the typical "Just act normal" and direct way of Dutch people from the north of Holland, Danny's story is really endearing.
