What's happening in the Netherlands? The new government is acting like we are a bunch of dumb sheep. We are not allowed to think and to act as free citizens any more. The past few weeks all kinds of new laws are rapidly introduced to "protect and to help" us. It seems we are stupid and they have to help us to avoid to do stupid things.
examples:
1) study books are now for free - Why? can we no longer afford them?
2) porn is restricted - what's wrong with porn
3) the legal coffee shops and brothels are restricted - why when it is legal in the first place
4) shopping Sundays are restricted - we need to enjoy the free day
5) children are monitored even more - the parents are not trusted with their own children
6) the government is tracking Internet and blocking certain websites
7) high incomes are limited - cannot the share holders decide themselves
etc. etc.
Where does this end? Why is nobody protesting? I am starting to be a little bit worried. Let's keep a close eye on this development.
